No thanks to American Express, but threat worked.

After getting no assistance from American Express over a false charge-back, I decided to contact the offender in question. Of course, it was no surprise I couldn't get the person in charge on the phone, caller id put that option to rest. That said, when I conveyed I was going to call their local police department and the FBI on an obvious case of fraud, I got a check in mail today.

This entire experience has affirmed only one thing in my mind, contrary to American Express' marketing claim as a friend to small business, it has done far more to harm us. As a result, we will no longer accept American Express cards in the future, the risk and their lack of accountability is just not worth it.
