The new intern is here.
We are in the middle of product ramp up, we needed QA help. The initial idea was to hire QA help from the local technology talent pool. As it turned out, after 4 months of trial with two different hires, the learning curve proved to be a bit too steep for the new hires. The biggest problems has been their lack of digital video knowledge, not to mention old habits from their prior jobs.
We decided hiring college kids as summer interns might be the way to go. After several rounds of interviews, our new intern from University of Washington is here. Let's see how it goes.
